On this week in 1977 Fleetwood Mac released their eleventh studio album 'Rumours'. The band wanted to expand on the commercial success of their previous album, the self-titled record featuring the debut of new members Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. The result was not only Fleetwood Mac’s most successful album but one of the biggest in music history.

'Rumours' became the band's first number one album on the UK albums chart and also topped the US Billboard 200 thanks to four top ten singles. It sold over 10 million copies worldwide within just a month of its release and would go on to win a Grammy for album of the year. It’s old over 45 million copies worldwide, making it the eight best-selling album of all time.

We’ll cover the 11 tracks from 'Rumours' along with the song that was left off of the album, eventually to become another Fleetwood Mac classic. We’ll get into the recording process which was famously difficult due to the relationship turmoil between band members, hear a studio breakdown of some of the tracks, talk about the album cover art, photos and more.
