We’re celebrating the life and career of AC/DC’s Angus Young, who celebrated a birthday this week. Angus turned 66 years young on Wednesday (March 31st, 1955). His story is not just about the endless classic guitar riffs, his classic school boy outfit or his boundless energy on stage. It’s also an inspiring story of a man who has dealt with personal tragedy not once but twice only to get back on his feet with his trusty Gibson SG guitar strapped over his shoulder, ready to do what he does best - play rock and roll music.

Angus and his band AC/DC have just released yet another explosive comeback album, their 17th studio album 'Power Up', a record dedicated to Angus’s older brother and long-time bandmate Malcolm Young, who sadly passed away in 2017.

In this episode we’ll hear the story of Angus from childhood right up until today. What inspired him to pick up the guitar, how he and his brother Malcolm formed AC/DC, their rise to prominence with frontman Bon Scott, coming back from the death of Bon in 1980 to eventually becoming one of the biggest selling artists and biggest live acts in music history.

This is the story of AC/DC’s Angus Young….
