Welcome to FGC Philosophy, I'm Tavian "Philosopher" Napier, and this is the place where we level up inside and outside the virtual arena. In today's episode, I am excited to share my experience of competing in a tournament at Bethel University in South Bend, Indiana. We had teams for both Overwatch and Rocket League, and I want to talk about what I learned, how the tournament went, and just my overall experience. I think it's important to reflect on what we go through and share our learnings to help others improve as well. For those who don't know me, I'm the assistant director of Esports and Arena at West Michigan University and the founder of the Kalamazoo fighting game community. I love competitive gaming and have been working in production, tournament organizing, commentating, and competing for a long time, so I hope to provide some value to those interested in the field or interested in bettering themselves. So, let's dive in!
