Dutch RicLamar: A Designer with Heart
Born in 1981, Dutch RicLamar has been designing clothes since he was a child. After being let go from a prominent military insurance company in 2008, he decided to pursue his true passion: fashion. RicLamar held his first fashion show that same year and quickly built a loyal clientele over the past 15 years. Despite his success, he has always remained humble and believes in the power of positive thinking.
A Triumph Over Heart Disease
In July of 2019, Dutch was diagnosed with heart disease. He was hesitant to share his struggles publicly, but after learning that many of his family members have also been affected by heart issues, he decided to speak out. In 2023, he was invited to speak at the Heartbeat Gala to bring awareness to this disease and help others who may be going through similar struggles. Dutch's health has since improved, and he looks forward to a long and fulfilling life.
