The January 6th committee hearings came and went without any type of resolution, civil, criminal, or political. What has now been deemed as a "show trial" whose only purpose was to "get Trump," the hearings turned out to be a spectacular failure. The committee members never seemed to want to explore the real events of January 6th, it seemed the members only wanted to attack former president Donald Trump. With Republicans now in control of the House of Representatives, thousands of documents along with thousands of hours of video surveillance have been released for the public to finally get a glimpse of the activities of that day. As many of us were not surprised to learn, the people in charge on January 6th lied about almost everything that happened that day. Tom explains the two surprising reasons why the "powers that be" readily deceive the American people.
