In chapters 11-16 of "The Cruel Prince" by Holly Black, Jude's efforts to gain power and respect in the faerie court continue, as she finds herself drawn into a plot to overthrow the current king. Jude sees this as an opportunity to finally have the power she craves, but she must navigate treacherous alliances and betrayals to make it happen. Jude's loyalty to her twin sister is also tested, and she must decide whether to help Taryn or focus on her own ambitions. As tensions rise and betrayals mount, Jude finds herself in more danger than ever before, with her enemies closing in on all sides. The stakes are high as the faerie court heads towards a reckoning, and Jude must use all of her wit and cunning to survive.
