From Texas with a 100 year winter storm, to sidewalks so hot in Palm Springs that dogs were burning their paws, to the US Track and Field trials in Eugene OR being delayed due to record setting heat to new vineyards being planted in New York State that used to be too cold for that variety of grape. 

Our nation's weather is changing.

There are already rolling brown outs in some parts of the country and requests from the electrical companies to modify our behaviors to conserve electricity usage.  

Climate change can not longer be denied.  That is a bad idea. 

What should we be dong individually, and as a nation, now to make the changes a minimal as possible so that we don't have to experience major changes in the future.
