Crossing Ideas Podcast with Author Mark W Sasse.
I arrived in Vietnam in 1994, just months after the US lifted its embargo against Vietnam. I learned a lot about the Vietnam War by hearing the stories and listening to my Vietnamese friends comments over the following ten years of teaching English in Vietnamese universities. This episode deals with differing views of the war from the northern Vietnamese perspective. It also allows to realize what I learned from my Cambodian friend, whose family escaped the horrors of post-Vietnam War Cambodia.
