This episode of the Educational Passages podcast is about the Columbia River Maritime Museum (CRMM) fleet of miniboats, which started in 2017 and has launched 36 since. Joining the episode is Nathan Sandel, who was the Education Director at the museum until 2022. Nate joins us to talk about the program he started and share some of the adventures of the miniboats so far.
The CRMM’s full miniboat program is currently on pause for program evaluation, and additional updates are forthcoming, but you can follow the boats that are still at sea and learn more at https://educationalpassages.org/events/crmm/. If you have any questions pertaining specifically to CRMM’s Miniboat program, please contact the museum’s current Education Director Katy Menne at menne@crmm.org.
