There are so many wonderful lessons and helpful tips from my discussions with Lori Mihalich-Levin. A lawyer turned entrepreneur, she started Mindful Return over 8 years ago after realizing a growing need for resources supporting new moms and working new parents reentering the workforce.
One lesson learned she shared is, just because people don't call you back does not mean they are not interested. She found that time and time again not giving up on someone turned the assumption they were not interested into just that...AN ASSUMPTION. People have busy lives.
Nearly 98 Companies have signed up to provide programs to their employees. This is such a valuable way to support your organization's people. Mindful Return has also added programs for experienced parents as well and has a strong community that are all there to support families.
Such an enjoyable discussion and I learned a little tip about visiting National Parks that I never knew. Hint; does anyone have a 4th grader I could borrow?
