By her own admission Loveta was a creative introvert growing up. Following a very safe route until she got out of her home town and started discovering the world. After attending the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) in Christchurch, she headed to Melbourne to find fame and fortune in musical theatre, then 5 years sailing the high seas and performing to cruise ship audiences. But something was missing. A chance to sing her own songs in her own style. A heady mix of pop and soul, with just a smattering of music theatre thrown in. Her debut single – More Than Fun – is released today and is she ready to take the ride? You bet she is.
