Today we hear in the Gospel a promise from Jesus, "this is indeed the will of my Father, that all who see the Son and believe in him may have eternal life and I will raise them up on the last day." When we think of the Easter season of the glory of the resurrection, St. Paul reminds us that we are to mourn the loss of our loved ones with, Hope, in the resurrection on the last day.
