Today’s guest is Marianne Andersen, the founder of High5Girls. She has more than 25 years of international experience within the MedTech industry and Robotics/AI. She is also the 2020 Agnes and Betsy award winner – an award given to an engineer that has done something extraordinary for diversity in technology.

High5Girls is an organization focused on attracting young women, between the ages of 13-19, into the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

High5Girls organizes hackathons and hands-on camps for girls and young women. And, at the events, female role models with a background in the industry share their passion for STEM.

I am interviewing Marianne to hear more about High5Girls, why we need more girls in technology and how parents can engage with this mission through High5Girls, for example.
