On today's episode, I am joined by former LMPD Officer Cory Evans. Cory, an 18 year U.S. Army veteran, a nine year police officer, and recently released convict from the federal prison system. Cory was sentence to two years in prison after being accused of using excessive force on a rioter/protester during the 2020 civil unrest. Tune in and listen to Cory share his life story about growing up in poverty in Eastern Kentucky, his time in the military, his time with the Louisville Metro Police Department and his perspective on the incident that made him a "political prisoner," ruined both of his careers and flipped his life upside down.
