As Managing Director and Head of Roynat Equity Partners, Mark is responsible for leading all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction execution and portfolio oversight. His mandate is to focus on opportunities across Canada and ensure that both Roynat Equity Partners’ and its portfolio companies’ goals are met.  Mark has extensive experience with investments and operations in small and medium sized businesses. Prior to joining Roynat, he was the head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Lynx Equity, a Toronto-based diversified private equity firm focused on acquiring small and medium-sized businesses. At Lynx, Mark was responsible for sourcing and executing new acquisitions, monitoring and overseeing existing portfolio companies, and developing the firm’s strategic direction. During his tenure at Lynx, the portfolio grew to 45 operating businesses with revenue in excess of $400M CAD. Prior to working at Lynx, Mark was the CEO and founder of OutdoorPartnerMedia which grew to be a publicly-traded company with a market capitalization of $60 million and displays in major cities in the United States. Prior to founding OutdoorPartner, Mark worked as an investment banking professional at Salomon Smith Barney in New York, and a corporate lawyer at Heenan Blaikie in Toronto.  Mark received an LL.B/MBA from the University of Toronto, where he won the Hewlett Packard Award for top performance in Finance. He also graduated with honours from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. in social science and statistics.
