Billy Nobel joined me on the podcast this week. Billy is the keyboard and piano player in Tim McGraw's band. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a degree in music and ended up landing in Nashville, where he currently lives. We talk about his musical upbringing, what it took to make music a career, when he decided to go all in, the qualities to look for or to emulate in  great teacher. We talk about overcoming uncertainty,  what it feels like to play in front of tens of thousands of people and what it's like working as part of one of the biggest musical acts in the world today from the traveling and touring to the lessons he's learned.
