In this episode, my sister and I dive into our thoughts on New Year's resolutions. Honestly, neither of us are big fans of the whole "New Year's resolution" thing. I mean, we get it - a new year feels like a fresh start, a chance to set goals and make positive changes. But let's be real, how often do those resolutions actually stick?
We chat about the cliché resolutions like getting in shape or eating healthier, and how it's so easy to start off strong in January but then totally fall off the wagon a month or two later. But hey, no judgment - we've all been there!
Instead of resolutions, we talk about setting more intentional goals throughout the year. Things like spending more quality family time together, being more present, and less glued to our phones and tablets. We share some ideas for getting the whole family involved in goal-setting in a fun, engaging way.
We also get real about our own goals and challenges, like being content with where we're at in life, even when things don't go according to plan (like navigating the crazy housing market and interest rates!).
So grab a cozy drink, settle in, and join us for a laid-back, honest conversation about ditching New Year's resolutions and setting meaningful goals that work for you and your family. Let us know your own goals in the comments - we'd love to cheer you on!
Hope you enjoyed this episode!
