Show Notes
Bethany Di Napoli is the Executive Director of the Independent School Chairpersons Association. She helps provide independent school chairs with the resources, education and support they need to be successful in their role as board chair. As a former independent school board chair and member of ISCA, she understands first hand the challenges and rewards of serving in that role and also benefited from the tremendous support ISCA provided to her when she was board chair.
Bethany’s professional background is in public health and nutrition having worked at the RI Department of Health for many years before leaving her position to care for her four school age children.
Her involvement with her children’s independent school lead to her being appointed Board Chair of St. Michael’s Country Day School in Newport, RI where she served in that role for 5 1/2 years. Bethany has served as Executive Director of ISCA since August of 2017 and has had the honor and pleasure of connecting ISCA members with experts in respective disciplines related to the board’s work including governance, legal, financial and diversity experts. She has been proud to see the organization grow and serve more board chairs under her leadership.
Bethany also serves on the board of directors for a professional contemporary ballet company in Newport, RI where she lives with her husband and 4 children.
Bethany can be reached via email at bethany@iscachairs.org or by phone at 401-216-8079.
