Today's topic. why everyone is now talking about gas stoves and indoor air pollution. To discuss this, our guest today is Dr. Kelsey Bilsback, a Senior Scientist at PSE Healthy Energy with expertise in mechanical engineering and atmospheric science. Her research uses modeling tools to quantify the air quality, health, and equity impacts of energy policies and planning. She was an author on the recent PSE study that found gas leaks from stoves in California can reach hazardous levels, and has conducted previous research on air quality, health, and climate. Examples of her work include quantifying the indoor and outdoor air quality impacts of methane leaks from the oil and gas sector and evaluating the health and equity impacts of utilities’s energy production portfolios.
