You have something that the world needs and you’ve yet to find out there. You have a message that you need to share. You have an itch to get out something you’ve found to be a solution to a problem of many.
If you’re like me, the kernel of an idea will pester you until you put your fingers to the keyboard and, peck by peck, you allow the story to evolve. Writing a book is a beautiful way to craft a message. But how do you share it? Well, before you can market it (which is my favorite), you have to publish it.
Today is a BIG day over here! First off, it’s my birthday. And, I figured what better gift than to release my fourth book. Emergence: Living Lessons from the Soil is out, available and ready to be invited into the homes and lives of others. Eek! To say I’m excited is an understatement.Â
In celebration of my book and my birthday, I also wanted to share some of my tried and true self publishing musts, and today I’m kicking off with how to ensure that that seed of a book idea gets properly watered.
