Chapter 6 ended with an angel crying out, 'Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!' Today, we consider the first two of those woes. In this study, we are continually forced to try to imagine what John saw. What are the diabolical locusts that arise out of the bottomless pit? Who is the fallen star that opens it? Who are the armies that cross the Euphrates? Are they really horsemen?
