Perhaps you've seen the new Netflix film "Don't Look Up." Well, Tané has actually worked on 2D and 3D modeling to simulate potential impact hazards such as asteroids. Now focused on innovative technologies crucial to our supply of drinking water, she has always been attracted to the toughest problems, starting in her days as a student. That propensity, coupled with overlooking some simpler questions on a grade school test, is what allowed her high school teacher to put her on the STEM track.
