El término LIVING TRUST proviene del derecho anglosajón y hace referencia a un tipo de contrato en el que una persona confía a otra la administración de cierto conjunto de bienes en beneficio de un tercero. También llamado fideicomiso en vida revocable es un documento de fideicomiso creado por un individuo que se puede cambiar con el tiempo. Los fideicomisos en vida revocables se utilizan para evitar la sucesión y para proteger la privacidad del propietario del fideicomiso y los beneficiarios del fideicomiso, así como para minimizar los impuestos sobre el patrimonio.
