Sherry Rais founded Enthea after spending years working for the United Nations and World Bank. It was there that she realized ending poverty is impossible without addressing mental illness. After learning about different mental health treatment modalities, it became apparent that at least for some people, existing treatments didn't work well. That's when she became aware of psychadelic treatment, and more particularly Ketamine therapy for those who are resistant to other forms of mental health treatments like anti-depressants and therapy. She is now on a mission to help employers offer Ketamine therapy to employees as a way to address the growing mental health crisis in the workplace. In this episode, we discuss Enthea's business model and the science behind Ketamine treatment. If you would like to learn more, please visit https://www.enthea.com/.
