Just because something seems complex, confusing, overwhelming, difficult, or involved does not make it better. Simple can be better and should be our goal.
As Albert Einstein said, "if you can't explain it simple, you don't understand it well enough."
We need to keep the main thing the main thing, as Stephen Covey says in his book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (linked below).
Don't get tricked into trying to do everything and it needing to be stressful and overwhelming all the time. Do what you are meant to well, and keep it simple - for everyone's sake.
