The most notorious account of poltergeist activity in Canada is said to have started in 1878. Esther Cox was a young woman who began hearing unexplainable noises, such as knocking and scratching sounds, in her bedroom at night. Soon These events escalated into objects moving, physical attacks, and fires starting on their own.
