Nelson and Fanny Grande founded Avenida Productions after being fed up with the lack of opportunities for Latino creatives and deciding to create those opportunities themselves. Since then Avenida has expanded to include their crowdfunding platform Support Our Stories which has raised millions in capital for Latino filmmakers and now they have a Wefunder campaign as they aim to expand and launch their streaming platform for Latino content.
