The Yin Fire Rabbit month translates to the I Ching card 41, Decrease. It's a month to use the Yin Fire energy to inspire a hard look at people, possessions, and passions to see if they still deserve a spot in your life. Decrease isn't always a bad thing. Think of it as Spring Cleaning. The decluttering and purging energy can increase resourcefulness, creativity, and lighten the energetic load.

The clarifying cards bring extra nuance to the energy of the month: #53, Development, focus line 6 This focuses on cooperation, integrity, making gradual progress, and being adaptable to changing situations. It's also speaking about the need to face where you need to improve yourself in order to get to the root of your challenges.

#42, Increase, focus line 4 Sharing your resources will help to expand your humanitarian footprint. This will in turn increase your own abundance by encouraging others to do the same. When combined with the "Decrease" aspect of letting go of clutter and excess, it can create win-win situations all around. #

34, Great Power, focus line 1 Many have the capacity to influence others on a grand scale. Without a strong character, this power can become distorted and show up as belligerence, dogmatism, or other example of gross egotism. If you find yourself in a position of power, take care that you aren't "punching down" to maintain that. Using power in a negligent manner will likely end poorly, so act with integrity and dignity. The path will be paved with honor and strength, not a crumbling veneer.
