You don’t have to wait for your body to be back to a certain look or size in order for you to start loving it 😍 again. Yep, we’re going there today.
If you’re in a body that doesn’t feel familiar to you, especially after having babies, like I am right now, here are some tangible ways that can help you feel better exactly where you’re at:
-DO the affirmations. Yes, I’m sure we’ve all heard this one. But really - there is such power in our words! Choose the things you love about yourself & attach “I AM” statements to them.
Ex. I AM patient
I AM strong
I AM loving
I AM forgiving
Whatever it is - say it loud to yourself at least 1-2x a day, and watch your view of yourself transform ❤️
(Chances are - the view in the mirror is will change too!)
-DO movement that makes you feel GOOD, not bad. If you’re trying CrossFit, and you just feel so broken & exhausted, try something else. If yoga 🧘🏼♀️ bores you, join an aerobics class! Dance, swim, climb, swing - do whatever feels good to you RIGHT now & your body will thank you for it!
-DO make & eat food that fuels you. Don’t settle for the quick, easy & cheap food - you’re better than that mama! As are your kids - chances are you’re feeding them better than yourself right now!
This also includes “spiritual food” - you must nourish your soul too!
Struggling to do all these things at once as a busy mom? Feel overwhelmed with making food choices & trying to teach your kids about God?
