An interview with the stars of Snack Shack, a new 90s-set coming of age movie. Lead actors Conor Sherry and Mika Abdalla join Dan for a Nostalgia Test Now episode about their nostalgia inspired movie Snack Shack, a 90s teen story centered around four friends at the public pool during the summer in Nebraska City.

They discuss the 90s prep they did, how their characters impacted them, some of their favorite moments of the movie, and so much more. After, Dan talks about five things he took away from watching Snack Shack.

CONOR SHERRY/ AJ Conor Sherry can soon be seen as the all-out lead in SNACK SHACK for director Adam Rehmeier and MRC, which will be released theatrically later this year. He can currently be seen recurring in TERMINAL LIST opposite Chris Pratt. He also starred in the third season of Nickelodeon’s anthology series ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?. He was the 2019 National Speech & Debate Association Champion in Humorous Interpretation for his self-written one man interpretation of Will Ferrell’s comedy feature KICKING & SCREAMING.

MIKA ABDALLA/BrookeMika is best known for her lead role as ‘Avery Hansen-White’ in Hulu’s teen comedy by Talia Osteen, SEX APPEAL, in which she starred opposite Paris Jackson, Fortune Feimster, and Margaret Cho. She can also be seen as the lead in Netflix’s “ProjectMc^2,” which earned her an individual nomination for a Young Artist Awards for Best Performance. Her previous credits include a recurring role in the CW’s Emmy-nominated Arrowverse series, “The Flash,” portraying the reluctant meta-teenager ‘Tinya Wazzo,’ known to DC Comics fans as ‘Apparition.’ Born and raised in Plano, Texas, Abdallais a former competitive ballroom dancer and equestrian. The first-generation actress currently resides in Los Angeles where she studies psychology at UCLA.
