Melinda Rothouse is a professional creativity, leadership, and mindfulness coach / consultant focusing on organizational culture, innovation and change management.She is also an educator, facilitator, and public speaker based in Austin, Texas, and creator and host of the new podcast Syncreate: Empowering Creativity, exploring the intersections of creativity, psychology, and spirituality, and expanding the boundaries of what it means to be creative. Her bestselling book, Syncreate: A Guide to Navigating the Creative Process for Individuals, Teams, and Organizations, co-authored with Charlotte Gullick, was released in November of 2021 from Mandorla Books and won a Silver Nautilus Award for Creativity & Innovation. Her first book, A Mindful Approach to Team Creativity and Collaboration in Organizations: Creating a Culture of Innovation, was published in 2020 by Palgrave Macmillan. With Coaching4Good, she offers leadership development, executive and career coaching for individuals and facilitate mindful collaboration, culture-building and innovation for organizations and teams. She's also the Founder and principal at Austin Writing Coach and the Co-Founder of Syncreate, as well as a musician and photographer, she leads workshops and retreats on mindfulness and creativity. She has a Ph.D. in psychology, with a focus on organizational creativity and collaboration, mindfulness, and the neuroscience of creativity.
