Who Are You Leading?

  1. We are leading people who base all decision off of feelings.
    • The reason that 50% of all marriages do not survive is because the don’t feel love for their spouse anymore.
    • Another example: the decline of high school sports and the increase of numbers in traveling sports.
      • Our children go to a team that will let them play.
      • We are no longer developing our children to understand their roles on a team.
      • Everyone is rewarded whether they win or lose

    • The median tenure for workers ages 25 to 34 is 2.8 years.
    • The median tenure for employees ages 55 to 64 is 9.9 years.
    • Workers in management, professional, and related occupations had the highest median tenure (4.9 years).
    • Workers in service occupations had the lowest median tenure (1.9 years).
  3. We are leading people who only care for themselves.

How Do We Change this?  In episode 21 we are going to talk about this very thing.  I believe that there are three main things that will help people to want to stay working for you, and paying them more money is not one of them.
