Speaker 1 (00:00):
On with Mario Lopez Sebel Mario Lopez joining me on Zoom.
Former Bachelorette, Mirror Ball Trophy winner and Special Forces Season
one winner Hannah Brown. Welcome back, Hannah, Hi, thanks for
having me, Thanks for taking the time. Congrats on your
debut novel, Mistakes We never made, oh bold title, right there.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
It's good. Right, It's a good one, And I'm so
excited about this project.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
What's the plot?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
So it is a romance novel. It is about Emma
who is kind of like your classic type a feel
like she has to be in control of everything, which
makes her a very great maid of honor for her
best friend. And it's set in her best friend's Weddy

(00:51):
weekend and everything's going great until best friend goes missing,
and so she has to enlist the help of her
like almost maybe guy that she's always like, just they've
they've had some history, and so they have to go
in a wild goose chase together to try to find
their best friend from making what they thinks, you know,

(01:14):
the worst mistake of her life, and in the meantime
do that they fall in love.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Do you find any inspiration from your own romantic life
or completely fabricated.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
I mean, the thoughts and feelings I think are definitely
from my own life. But I myself have not gone
a lot of goose Chase for a runaway bride, so
you never know, but I'm sure it's a good time.
They go to Vegas, they go all down the coast
of California, so you know, I do inspiration from places

(01:46):
that I've been, but the exact experience I really can't
fully relate to. But that was fun. That was like,
what was really creative and fun about this project?

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Got it? Well, let me ask you what was more challenging,
dancing Special Forces or creating this world?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Oh so different? I feel like the because they're all
like pretty mentally challenging in different ways. I would say
this book is a longer process than any of them
I've been. You know, there was always like a you know,

(02:25):
all right, all I'm doing is focusing on dating with
the stars. All I'm doing, especially as you know, the
thing that I'm in and I'm completely surrounded by it.
We're writing this book. I mean, I was doing a
lot of other projects at the same time, So I
think that makes it a little bit harder because it's
not like I can just isolate and just focus on
one thing. So take the book is a different type

(02:48):
of Hawk challenge, but definitely the most rewarding.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Right, daunting, but yeah, definitely re warding. You also got
a podcast, Better Tomorrow. What do you talk about on there?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
About all types of things, But really I want the
time that I have guessed on and people listening to
just be like an additive experience. So we had people
on and talk about, you know, some of their hardest
times and how they were able to change, what they learned,
how they grew to have this Better Tomorrow's in the future,

(03:20):
and hopefully you know, whoever's listening in their car or whatever,
like wherever they're out in that day, they just feel
a little bit better after listening.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
You go, I know you appeared on Tyler Cameron's show
over on Amazon. Do you have any hesitation reuniting with him?
So wait, remind me, did you did you marry that dude?
Or did he pick you?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
You picked? No, he was he was on my season
and we had a little back and forth even after
the show was.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Was wait did you pick that? Were you the bachelorette
or was he the Batchler? You know, you were the
bats arette and you didn't pick them and.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
They didn't pick them. Okay, So we had a very
interesting relationship. But we're at the point where we're just like, actually,
you know, can support each other in our different you know,
ventures that we're doing. And so he was he asked
me to come on, and I was like, yeah, why not.
I have a background in interior design, and so it

(04:21):
was fun to be able. Yeah, that's what I did
before I was on any of these shows. I did
the interior decorating. But I mean that was right out
of college, and so yeah, it was really fun for
me to be able to like show that side of myself.
It was cool.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
And you're engaged, correct?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
I am engaged?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yes, got it to someone else? To someone else? How's
that going? When's the wedding?

Speaker 2 (04:48):
It's going great. You know. We just really focused on
preparing for a marriage and now, which had been great
and I'm feeling so confident. But now we've started the
wedding planning. We took a little bit longer to start,
and I started it while I'm trying to do this

(05:09):
press for this book, which was, I don't know, probably
not the best move. So we haven't got that far
in it. But I have a wonderful wedding planner and
we're trying to get like logistics going. So we're on
the you know, first first half of just trying to
figure everything out. But it's been really, really great and
I'm excited hopefully we'll be We haven't said the day

(05:32):
exactly what we think next year, like next summer.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
All nice, well, congrats and good luck. Meanwhile, mistakes we
never made. Drops on May the seventh, Hanna, thanks for
hanging out.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Oh, I always love hanging out. Thank you so much, Ah,
you too, take care of Bye
