He lectures and serves as a consultant for faith-based and other community organizations in areas of leader development, curriculum design, and community outreach initiatives. He is a published author, manuscript editor, and tutor for higher and theological education clients. After Colgate he earned a doctoral degree from Drew University in Ethics, Latino Theology, Social history. He was a Lecturer at Union Theological Seminary in New York, teaching the Spanish for Theological Reading course for Ph.D. and MA students. While at Colgate, he was the founder of UNIDAD. He was also a member of the Colgate 13, Spanish Club, and La Raza Singing Group. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature.
