In this interview from 2013, I speak with the legendary Fabio Santos, one of the earliest pioneers of BJJ in the United States. He was the first person to teach BJJ in New York in 1983, later instructing at the seminal Gracie Academy in Torrance where he helped Royce prepare for the UFC.

In this interview, we talk about that history, as well as his thoughts on the IBJJF rules and how best to run a class. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, just let us know on info@artemisbjj.com
