Welcome to the Badass Babes of Entertainment! On our thirteenth episode of season 2, we interviewed Indican Pictures pro’s Shaun Hill and Randolph Kret.
Shaun Hill serves as President of Indican Pictures, a boutique motion picture distribution label that has released 300+ films into the North American market since the company’s inception. The company successfully transformed into foreign market sales and entered into a successful partnership with studios to further broaden its reach across platforms throughout the world. For her work with Indican, Shaun was recently awarded the honor of being the only woman named a Top 20 Indie Power Player.
Randolph Kret is the President of Production & Home Video at Indican Pictures. Kret started out as the theatrical booking agent for Indican Pictures before segueing to Acquisitions, and in 2004 he became the V.P. of Marketing for Indican Pictures before stepping into his current Executive role.
Indican Pictures acquires and distributes feature films to a broad range of entertainment outlets. Our business model enables us to directly provide a diverse selection of independent film content (action, art-house, comedy, documentary, drama, family, foreign language, horror, rom-com, sci-fi, thriller, western) through our strategic partnerships, into all media platforms (theatrical, VOD/SVOD, home video, TV/broadcast, ancillary, educational), for consumer enjoyment. Since our inception, we have distributed several hundred films into the marketplace. Our features are available at a variety of platforms. Indican Pictures presence throughout the foreign market and territories, include: AFM, Berlin/EFM, Cannes, Hong Kong International Film & TV, MIPCOM, MIPTV, NATPE and Toronto.
As a quick bonus we interviewed several great guests at a local event called “Meet in Malibu”; where Brenda Fisher was joined by Badass co-Host Terra Newell, who took down Con man dirty John . Mallory Sackey, commonly known by Miss Mal Sack or Mal Sackey, is an American Model, Actress and former Miss America Organization contestant. Mallory was born June 5th, 1997 in Minneapolis, Minnesota . After her time spent competing in the Miss America Organization and earning her MBA from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Sackey's modeling and producing career launched after gaining a large following on various social media platforms, as well as appearing in various roles in American films and music videos.
