Living in your later years in life, after you have retired and raised your family, is supposed to be relaxing and easy, right? You get to enjoy your last days doing things you love, or things that bring you joy and peace.
Unfortunately, for 7 unsuspecting residents and 1 employee of Pinelake Health and Rehab center in Carthage, North Carolina, their enjoyment of those golden years would be cut short by a jilted lover in search of his estranged wife.
Robert Stewart would use the excuse of being on ambien to excuse his actions on the day of the massacre, but in reality he was just pissed off that his wife Wanda didn't want to be with his controlling self any longer.
