Back in August 1976 two bodies - a man and a woman, would be discovered on the side of interstate 95 in Sumter County South Carolina and would remain unidentified for nearly 44 years after their discovery.

Even though the couple, previous dubbed as Jane and Jock Doe, have been identified as 30-year-old James Paul Freund and 25-year-old Pamela Mae Buckley, both considered American hitckhikers, their connection to each other remains a mystery after all these years.
