Marc Bernardin boasts an impressive career as a WGA Award-winning television writer-producer, with notable contributions to acclaimed series like Star Trek: Picard, Carnival Row, Treadstone, Castle Rock, Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina, Masters of the Universe: Revelations, and Alphas. In 2023, he further showcased his talent by directing the award-winning short film, Splinter.In the realm of comics, Marc is esteemed as an Eisner-nominated writer, renowned for his works including Messenger: The Legend of Muhammad Ali, Adora and the Distance, Census, Peter Parker: The Amazing Shutterbug, Genius, and The Highwaymen.Marc's journey began in journalism, starting from his early days at Starlog Magazine to his impactful cover story on the movie Black Panther for Entertainment Weekly. Before his notable achievements in television and comics, Marc honed his skills as an editor-writer for publications such as the Los Angeles Times and The Hollywood Reporter.Alongside his illustrious career, Marc co-hosts the popular pop culture show Fatman Beyond with filmmaker Kevin Smith.Today, Marc joins us to discuss his latest venture, the Star Wars: Mace Windu comic series, a collaboration between Lucasfilm and Marvel Comics commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
