This Sunday will be a reminder to keep a loose grip on the things of this world. Why? Because “this world in its present form is passing away.” What does that mean for us as we are Called, Gathered, and Enlightened? St. Paul lays this out in just a few short verses which will give us opportunity to consider what Jesus has to say in the Gospel reading, that “the time has come... the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” How does all of this help us keep a loose grip on the things of this world? That’s what we’ll be exploring. We hope you can join us!
