Limit Break Stories is a Limit Break Media project dedicated to promoting and curating inspiring and positive stories. To that end I am also speaking to creatives with different perspectives who are steeped in the art of storytelling in different mediums.
Today our Limit Breaker is Tony Poulson. Tony is an artist from the U.S. His Hand over the Hero series has been a fan favorite at Comic Conventions and Art festivals around the country since 2013. He books over 50 shows a year! His art style involves combining recognizable Pop Culture icons being handed over by their counterpart, an ally, or even creator which evokes elements of cuteness and quirkiness across all genres.
He actually failed out of art school at his university, despite earning national recognition for his political cartoons from the Society of Professional Journalists. He recently partnered with Youtooz and Nickelodeon to create an Avatar the last air-bender 3D collectible in the art of his Hand Over the Hero style.
