The kiddieGRAND was established to provide quality, safe, and loving care for toddlers, pre-school children and school age children. They strive to create an educational and inviting environment as well as providing a unique opportunity for children to experience the benefits of an intergenerational learning center.
Research has shown that through these interactions, children are able to begin to understand the normal aging process, to understand and accept those with disabilities, and to build relationships with others. Their residents in turn are also able to benefit from these interactions.
Some intergenerational activities include visiting residents, art projects, storytelling, music, dancing and so much more! Our staff recognizes the importance of balanced growth, therefore we also provide opportunities for mental, physical, and emotional growth through a variety of creative classroom experiences and structured curriculum.
