Today’s guests are Iain and Tim Stewart, a couple of lads (and I should mention identical twins) from the eastern 'burbs of Melbourne who provide us an insight to the company they’ve created called Exegenics. This start-up was the brainchild of Iain, an Engineer who created a possible game-changing algorithm to optimise chilled water plants in large buildings, factories and warehouses. 10-15% of our energy usage revolves around cooling - so that’s a huge market. Tim has used his sales experience to propel this business with the assistance of Energy Labs, a local start-up accelerator to hopefully tackle climate change and make a few bucks in the process.
