We continue our focus on spotlighting our teachers as they navigate through this new online COVID environment. This time we will chat with elective teachers. From Plano: Mr. Smathers, Ms. Ottman, Ms. Gallegos,fFrom Mesquite: Coach Denson and Ms. Burns. They'll be answering questions like:
-What were your feelings during Spring Break when we were entering the "Should we close schools?" period?
-Once school closed, first for a week and then for longer, how did that change your thoughts about how to do your elective class online?
-How do you actually do your class online?
-How has attendance been?
-What are you doing differently now then the first week or two of closure?
-What skills/practices have you learned during this time that you will you bring into school when it starts up in the fall? Why?
We know you will enjoy hearing how the elective teachers have used their creative skills to bring engaging music, drama, PE and more to your children!
