Football is going to the Olympics, the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic games will be the 1st year Flag Football will be apart of this global celebration of athletes! Charles talked to us about the excitement of the Olympic announcement made Monday October 16th, 2023 (which has it's own historical context Black Power salute at Mexico City Games October 16th, 1968) We learn about the growth of the game that may or may not have started in 1940 as well as where the game is going! Like many times in history and life women have been leading the way for Flag Football and told about some of the great of the game.
