Desde el 15 de agosto de 2011, el 98% de las exportaciones colombianas a Canadá ingresan libres de arancel gracias a este acuerdo. Los productos más beneficiados son las joyas, minería, productos químicos, farmacéuticos, muchos textiles, confecciones y calzado, maquinaria y equipo, vidrio, plástico y caucho y sus manufacturas y vehículos y autopartes. A su vez, este acuerdo le permite a Colombia importar el 69,8% de la oferta de bienes industriales de Canadá libre de arancel.
