La agroindustria es sin duda uno de los sectores ganadores de la negociación. Con este acuerdo, firmado el 22 de mayo de 2013, Costa Rica se comprometió a desgravar el 81% de los productos agrícolas, de los cuales, el 60% obtuvo acceso inmediato, como por ejemplo los huevos. El acuerdo también le permite a Colombia acceder a un mercado con orientación importadora en materia de bienes industriales.
