Wednesday January 6th, 2021, will go down in Infamy. It was the day trump supporters who had just left a rally organized and supported by trumpand his allies, incited a mob to stage a take-over of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC.
From all accounts this was an insurrection and a coup. All 435 members of Congress and 100 Senators, including the vice-president, a trump loyalist, were inside.
Was this mob trying to simulate the George Floyd protests? What was their agenda? Did they have a civil rights grievance or did they just feel left out, because after thye were white, they were not shot at, beaten,or used rubber bullets. From all indications, barriers were removed, police took selfies with them while they roobed and pillaged the bastion of American democracy.
