Jawaher er 22 år og kurder fra Syrien. Hun kom til Danmark i 2015 med sin familie, og har nu boet i Danmark i 5,5 år. Jawaher laver frivilligt arbejde for Dansk Flygtningehjælps Ungdom, og har bl.a. taget initiativ til at starte en FB-side for at give en stemme til afviste syrere i Danmark. Et scenarie som potentielt kan blive aktuelt for Jawaher selv. Hun venter svar på, om hun er kommet ind på en af sine to drømmeuddannelser, nemlig bioanalytiker eller administrationsbachelor. Men endnu vigtigere så venter hun svar på, om hendes opholdstilladelse bliver forlænget, og om hun kan få lov at blive boende i Danmark.
