Hipotéticamente Asesinado fue originalmente creado para un espectáculo de vodevil soviético, pero tuvo buena recepción por parte de las autoridades culturales de la URSS y quedó en el olvido. En 2005 el coreógrafo Alexei Miroshnichenko rescata esta maravillosa composición y crea un ballet para la compañía del Teatro Estatal de Perm.
